So dudes….I’m so into the Skinfood Lettuce and Cucumber Collection at the moment. It’s totally taking over my skin life and making it so normal! It’s pretty much Winter here in my little city and the harsh New York air should be getting busy around this time making my cheeks patchy, my middle brow area flaky, and other fun dry skin havoc.
But I beat that!
So far I’ve tried two items from the Skin Food Lettuce and Cucumber line and it’s totally making my skin behave normal. No patchy dry skin, no flakes…this must be what it feels like to have normal skin!

Last week I reviewed the Skin Food Lettuce and Cucumber Water Drop Essence Serum. Now the serum is actually a primary treatment prior to applying what I’ll be reviewing for you today, Skin Food Lettuce and Cucumber Water Jelly Cream.

I got a few questions about dry skin going on here and I wanted to say my skin is all kinds of dry in the Winter. Many of you took one look at this collection and proceeded to e-mail to tell me NO way is that going to cure dry skin.
So true….I totally agree. When I first seen the products I was like, “eh? What? Nope, no way!”
Honestly, the formula is so light it doesn’t seem exactly like something that would cure my dry skin. My go to product for curing the dry skin woes in the Winter is Steam Cream so I was pretty shocked that I didn’t need a rich moisturizer to get great results.
Skin Food Lettuce and Cucumber Water Jelly Cream is just that, a gel moisturizer. The formula is a cooling gel cream that applies wet and absorbs easily into skin. Honestly, it’s been around two weeks or more since I started using both the serum and the cream and I’ve seen killer results on my dry skin. I love the fact that I don’t need to slather a ton of rich, heavy cream on my face to see beautiful results. I use this in the AM only as I do favor a heavier formula for night time use. The formula sinks in perfectly leaving behind cooled, refreshed skin that’s makeup ready.
I love that I don’t have to work hard to get it to absorb, I love that it doesn’t make my face or hands greasy and oily feeling, I love that it creates a smooth, flawless finish to my skin, I love that it’s been keeping the dry skin at bay and making my skin more normal. No oily forehead, no dry patches on my cheeks, no flakes between my brows….
